- Karlin, Marry. Artisan Cheese Making at Home. Berkeley: Ten Speed Press, 2011. – I love this book, even though I know I will unlikely ever make most of the cheeses there. It is a good source of explaining the different cheese cultures.
- Treuille, E., Ferrigno, U. The Art of Bread. New York: DK Publishing Inc., 1998. – I love this book as a reference to easy bread making
